What if there was a space where children looked forward to school?
Enchanted Mountain Waldorf is a hybrid and enrichment program for homeschoolers. Our classes are Waldorf-inspired, with the goal of educating the whole child: “head, heart, and hands.” All age groups work within an arts-integrated curriculum based on cultivating students' intellectual, emotional, and physical capacities.
A Waldorf education honors a child’s natural curiousity through a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and developing skill in handwork. Our classes deliberately include arts and movement, raising a generation of children who are confident in their ability to learn new skills and achieve goals.
Intellectually rigorous, age-appropriate classes are brought to children in five week lesson blocks. Children are taught to be critical thinkers and creative problem solvers, encouraged to ask thoughtful questions and engage in meaningful discussion, and take a front seat in their own education.
We believe that a true education is one that touches a child’s soul. With an emphasis on stories full of truth and wisdom, children will have the space to grow in compassion, empathy, and confidence. By educating the heart, children learn to not only think well but care deeply.

Welcome to Enchanted Mountain Waldorf, an enrichment homeschool program located in the Enchanted Mountains of Olean, NY. Designed with homeschooling families in mind, we offer both a parent/toddler program and a drop-off program for older students. We aim to support homeschooling families: parents remain their children’s primary teachers, and we come alongside them to provide support, resources, and community.
Homeschooling can be challenging, but we believe that we thrive in community. Our older classes are multidisciplinary and cover a variety of subjects, and families will be provided with optional home activities, book lists, and lesson plans. Math and ELA skill work should continue to be covered at home.
